Help: Employment - Resumes

Resumes are not available if you are logged on with a business account.

Create New Resume

Run Resume (required in order to activate Resume on the site)

Edit Resume (allows you to update Resume information)

Stop Resume (allows you to stop a Resume from displaying on the site)

Extend Resume (allows you to extend the run time of a Resume)

Delete Resume (deletes the Resume from the web site)

View Resume (allows you to see how your Resume will look)
Create New Resume
In order to create a new Resume you must first be on the My Account tab. On this page you will see a section named "My Employment Listings - Resumes".
  1. Click on the icon to the right of the "My Employment Listings - Resumes".
  2. The "Create New Resume" form will be displayed.
  3. Field headings displayed in BOLD are required in order to create the Resume.
  4. Complete as many fields on the form as possible in order to provide prospective employers with detailed information about you.
  5. Click the "Create Resume" button to create the Resume.
  6. Wait for the confirmation page to appear telling you the Resume has been created.
  7. At this point your Resume has been created but is not active on the site.
  8. Click the link on the confirmation page to return to the My Account page in order to run your Resume.

Next Step: Run Resume
Run Resume
A Resume is not active and visible on the site until you Run it. In order to Run a previously created Resume, you must first be on the My Account tab.
  1. Find the Resume you want to Run and click the icon in the Action column.
  2. The next screen will be a confirmation page informing you that the Resume is now running on the site or errors, if any occurred.
  3. Click the link on the confirmation page to return to the My Account page.
Edit Resume
Resumes can be edited at any time. In order to Edit a Resume, you must first be on the My Account tab.
  1. Find the Resume you want to Edit and click the icon in the Action column.
  2. The "Edit Resume" form will be displayed. You can update any field on this form, but required fields in BOLD must have values.
  3. Click the "Save Changes" button to finish editing the Resume.
  4. A confirmation page will be displayed informing you of any errors if they occurred.
  5. Changes will show up on the site immediately.
Stop Resume
Stopping a Resume stops the Resume from being visible on the web site. In order to Stop a Resume, you must first be on the My Account tab.
  1. Find the Resume you want to Stop and click the icon in the Action column.
  2. Clicking the Stop icon will bring up a confirmation page asking you if you are certain you want to Stop the Resume.
  3. If so, click Yes and you will be presented with another confirmation page informing you the Resume is now stopped.
  4. If you click No, the Resume will remain running and you will be returned to the My Account page.
Extend Resume
Extending a Resume allows you to extend the Run duration of an existing Resume that is already running. In order to Extend a Resume, you must be on the My Account tab.
  1. Find the Resume you want to Extend and click the icon in the Action column.
  2. The Resume will immediately be extended for the default duration of a Resume.
  3. A confirmation page will be displayed informing you of the extension of your Resume.
Delete Resume
Deleting a Resume will remove the Resume from the site completely. Resumes can be Deleted whether they are running or not. In order to Delete a Resume, you must be on the My Account tab.
  1. Find the Resume you want to Delete and click the icon in the Action column.
  2. A confirmation page will display asking you to confirm the deletion of the Resume.
  3. Click Yes to Delete the Resume. A confirmation page will display telling you the Resume has been Deleted.
  4. Click No to return to the My Account page.
View Resume
Viewing a Resume allows you to see how the Resume will look on the site when it is running.
  1. Find the Resume you want to View and click the icon in the Action column.
  2. Clicking the icon will open the Resume for viewing.
