In order to create a new Job you must
first be on the My Account tab. On this page you will see a section
named "My Employment Listings - Jobs". You will only see
this section if your account is a business account and you have a
current business subscription.
Click on the
icon
to the right of the "My Employment Listings - Jobs".
The "Create New Job" form will be displayed.
Field headings displayed in BOLD are required in order to
create the Job.
Complete as many fields on the form as possible in order to
provide prospective employees with detailed information about the
job.
Click the "Create Job" button to create the Job.
Wait for the confirmation page to appear telling you the Job has
been created.
At this point your Job has been created but is not active on the
site.
Click the link on the confirmation page to return to the My
Account page in order to run your Job.
A Job is not active and visible on the site until
you Run it. In order to Run a previously created Job, you must
first be on the My Account tab.
Find the Job you want to Run and click the
icon in the Action column.
Any time you Run a Job you will be presented with a
purchase form.
If you did not set Featured = Yes when you created or edited
the Job, you will have one purchase option that says "FREE".
If you set Featured = Yes when you created or edited the Job,
you may have multiple purchase options to select from.
Choose your desired payment amount and duration you want the Featured
status for.
Click the "I Agree With Purchase Agreement, Continue with
Purchase" button.
If your Job is NOT Featured, the next screen will be a
confirmation page informing you that the Job is now running on
the site or errors, if any occurred.
If your Job IS Featured, you will directed to a secure
checkout page to enter in credit card information and pay for
Featuring the Job.
Fill out the purchase form and click "Make Purchase".
The next page will be the confirmation page informing
you the Job is now running on the site or errors, if any
occurred.
Click the link on the confirmation page to return to the My
Account page.
Jobs can be edited at any time, however a Job
cannot be set to "Featured" unless it is stopped first. In order
to Edit a Job, you must first be on the My Account tab.
Find the Job you want to Edit and click the
icon in the Action column.
The "Edit Job" form will be displayed. You can update any
field on this form, but required fields in BOLD must have
values.
Click the "Save Changes" button to finish editing the
Job.
A confirmation page will be displayed informing you of any
errors if they occurred.
Stopping a Job stops the Job from being visible on
the web site. It is also required in order to change the Featured
status of a Job. In order to Stop a Job,
you must first be on the My Account tab.
Find the Job you want to Stop and click the
icon in the Action column.
Clicking the Stop icon will bring up a confirmation page asking
you if you are certain you want to Stop the Job.
If so, click Yes and you will be presented with another
confirmation page informing you the Job is now stopped.
If you click No, the Job will remain running and you will be
returned to the My Account page.
Extending a Job allows you to extend
the Run duration of an existing Job that is already running. In
order to Extend a Job, you must be on the My Account tab.
Find the Job you want to Extend and click the
icon in the Action column.
Clicking the Extend icon will bring up the purchase form (even
for FREE Ads).
Select a duration (and price if applicable) and click the "I
Agree With Purchase Agreement, Continue with Purchase" button.
If your Job is NOT Featured, the next screen will be a
confirmation page informing you that the Job is now running on
the site or errors, if any occurred.
If your Job IS Featured, you will directed to a secure
checkout page to enter in credit card information and pay for
Featuring the Job.
Fill out the purchase form and click "Make Purchase".
The next page will be the confirmation page informing
you the Job is now running on the site or errors, if any
occurred.
The Job will immediately be extended for the duration selected
if it is a Featured Job or the default duration if the Job is not
Featured.
Deleting a Job will remove the Job from the site
completely. Jobs can be Deleted whether they are running or not.
In order to Delete a Job, you must be on the My
Account tab.
Find the Job you want to Delete and click the
icon in the Action column.
A confirmation page will display asking you to confirm the
deletion of the Job.
Click Yes to Delete the Job. A confirmation page will
display telling you the Job has been Deleted.
Featured Jobs have a priority listing
status when visitors to the site search or browse for Jobs.
In order to Feature your Jobs you must set Featured = Yes when you Create
or Edit a Job. When you Run the Job you will be presented with
purchase options for Featured Jobs. Choose a duration you would
like the Job Featured for.
During the timeframe your Job is Featured it will be displayed with
other Featured Jobs and before Non-Featured Jobs.
NOTE: Do NOT Stop a Job that is currently Featured, unless the
Job has been filled or you really wish to stop displaying the Job on the
site. If you need to Edit your Job, just Edit it while the Job is
running.
